Reflection for week 3

During the first week trying to get into Stevens institute was a bit of a bind as the When we came to the campus we couldn't find Hayden hall, after a few minutes we did get there. Seeing the view of NY was amazing, no matter how many times I go to New York City the experience is all the same to me whenever I see the amazing view.

Meeting everyone at first I started off quiet. We all started to speak to each other when we were all at the Habachi grill seeing the chiefs amazing cooking skills.of course knowing me I wasn't able to connect with everyone right on the first week because of my voice being very low for others to hear.
However after a few mixups everyone turned out to be amazing to be around, I even made my own repretation that I normally do! (Side joke)

Academics first class being probability and statistics was a little challenging to me due to the fact that I am not good at word problems and never know what formula to use when tackling those kinds of problems. The professor Ms.Pidduck was a very cooropertive, she would go at a pace where we could all understand, not too slow not but not too fast either.

Career prep was the most overwhelming time because of the fact that we had to do research on our future jobs, create resumed, cover letters, and thank you letters, and do a Mach interview which wasn't that bad in the end.

Leadership in actuality was my most focused class. The class was to help find who you are as a person and find your traits that make you a leader. I especially enjoyed this class because I was able to find out things such as being a tactile learner, learning things by using your hands, or my traits in being a leader being surprisingly very accurate.

Lastly pre-calc. For the second week Ms.Pidduck's brother Andrew taught us lessons and he was great. He taught us many lessons and was very coropertive with everyone when we didn't understand a concept in the lesson. Their were many times when we were ready to give up with the lesson but of course after lunch break we would get a clear mind to process the info to try again and we were able to succeed.

Coming here was worth it In my opinion. Everyone here was amazing to be around, and not too looking it started to feel as we are a family. Bonding with each other everyday and being able to see the amazing view of NY just from a minute from class. Classes were at times struggling but very worth the effort. I'm very happy to say that this will be an unforgettable experience and besides staying in contact with everyone I'm truly happy to say that I will truly miss everyone that I've met here, and until we meet again. Arrivaderci!
