In this Article, it talks about the Chief designer of Nike, John Hoke and how his dyslexia makes him see things much differently. I like the fact how he doesn't let his condition affect him in a negative way. Instead, he made use it to his advantage and in the end, his design is favored by millions to this day as many people around the world supports Nike and loves its iconic design logo.

Reflection for week 3

During the first week trying to get into Stevens institute was a bit of a bind as the When we came to the campus we couldn't find Hayden hall, after a few minutes we did get there. Seeing the view of NY was amazing, no matter how many times I go to New York City the experience is all the same to me whenever I see the amazing view. Meeting everyone at first I started off quiet. We all started to speak to each other when we were all at the Habachi grill seeing the chiefs amazing cooking skills.of course knowing me I wasn't able to connect with everyone right on the first week because of my voice being very low for others to hear. However after a few mixups everyone turned out to be amazing to be around, I even made my own repretation that I normally do! Skills of a leader

There are a verity of qualites and skills it takes to make an effective leader. For example I believe a leader must be bold. One must be ready to take risk of they are in a pinch or if need to be able take a gamble to be able to turn the tables in the situation. If not you'll never know where you can get in life. Another trait is being able to learn and improve. I happen to take this trait very seriously. I believe that in order to be able to develop your own character you must be able to open minded and accept criticism which can be used to improve your faults or flaws. How will you be able to develop yourself if you are close minded and shut your mind from being able to learn from your mistakes to make sure they don't occur as often or at all?  I believe that's accepting and learning from your failures is the quickest ways to improve, as in being able to Analyze from your shortcomings and letting it mold you into a better being.
